Our Mission is to provide Aids, Resources, and General Information on Autism and the Treatment of Autism to Parents, Educators, and the Community in General to Assist in the Development of Communication, Curriculum, Legislation, and ultimately the Betterment of Autistic Children.

Our Hope is that you will find the Resources you seek,  whether they are Visual-Aids to Assist in Teaching Communication and Language, or Social Stories for explaining socially Acceptable Behavior in given circumstances, or perhaps just some encouragement and some friendly advice from those who've been there before!

Our History

Autism-Visuals.com was founded by Matthew & Rachele Brownfield, who have a son with Autism--Jeremiah.   Jeremiah was diagnosed days before his 3rd Birthday.  This led the Brownfield's on a journey to find the Resources, the tools, and the encouragement they needed to help their son!  Prior to utliizing Visual-Aids with the PECS system--Jeremiah was completely Non-Verbal; He is now testing at Grade Level in School!

After attending Autism Conference as well as Autism Parenting Classes, PECS Training and Classes, TEACCH Training and Classes--a Tremendous Need for a centralized location for Parent, Educators, and others in the Community to find these Visual Aids was needed! 

This gave birth to Autism-Visuals.com!

We hope that this Website will allow you to assist your Child, your Grandchild, your Step-Child, or a Friend of a Friend's child!    Our Children are the Future of tomorrow, and the Voice of Our Autistic Children must be found!      Though we are constantly told "there is no cure", that will never mean 'It is not treatable'..we KNOW better!
